Form Captains – also known as class captains/home group captains/pastoral care group leaders – are largely a token role in the majority of schools. If you are happy with your form captains performing such roles as fetching the class lists and reporting to the coordinator if no teacher turns up to class then Second Strike cannot assist you.
The role of Form Captain could be something inspirational if the school is keen to grow the role considerably. Second Strike can offer a training course that would specifically include sessions where students currently in the role can create opportunities for genuine leadership and re-imagine their role as something bigger and more important.
