We offer a Professional Development Seminar for SRC Teacher Advisers, now running for 12 years. This semianr is for any SRC Teacher who has ever felt lost, overwhelmed or in need of new ideas. Don’t expect a standard PD seminar with dry lectures and power point slides though, Second Strike has a reputation for fun, engaging and challenging sessions without boring or patronising you.

SRC Teachers PD Seminar Sample Program
This is the only professional development seminar for SRC Teacher Advisers – which is now in its twelfth year, and each time has been a huge success. The aim of the seminar is to provide you with a whole lot of new resources, ideas and inspiration, while reducing the inevitable gap between the SRC Teacher Adviser and the SRC students. For this reason, we also encourage students to register.

We’ve attached a registration form that contains all dates and venues, for you to decide which one you would like to attend. Just some the topics that will be covered are:

Places are strictly limited to 40 per seminar, and they do fill rapidly. Prices are $135 (plus GST) per person. This covers registration, materials, refreshments and lunch on the day.
Members of the Institute of SRC Teacher Advisers in their state (or the VicSRC in Victoria) are entitled to a 20% discount, reducing the rate from $135 to $108 (plus GST) per head.
